Description
This mini canvas print makes a perfect addition to your home. Each piece of art depicts an animal or spirit that is part of the indigenous world. Each includes a description of the artwork, information on the indigenous culture the art is inspired by, and an artist biography.
Each 6″ x 6″ print features smudge, fade, and water-resistant pigments on heavyweight canvas mounted on a wood frame with a sawtooth hanger. Like any print, keep out of direct sunlight.
This print titled Mosayiu – Bison features an image of Mosayiu. Carrying Paaho, a prayer element for good blessings, Mosayiu travels across the valley as rain clouds cross the horizon. An arrow symbol from Mosayiu’s mouth is called a “Heart Line”, the breath path leading to the heart. Below the Heart line, four colored circles represent the four directions. A spiral at Mosayiu’s hoof symbolizes the journeys he has taken.
